Rivershore Publishing (RiPubCo) produces music sequences using the standard GS MIDI format. All sequences on this diskette and in our library are made this way and may be edited, modified or changed by a user with compatible sequencer software such as Cakewalk (DOS or WIN). All sequencer files on this diskette hold the (.MID) extension. At the present time there are hundreds of titles available in the following styles: PRECISION MUSIC: Sequences that are step entered as an exact reproduction of the composer's work, observing ALL notations. These sequences will give the listener the precise version of the work without any performance interpretations. BIG BAND: These are popular songs from the big band era sequenced to sound like the real thing. The patches are selected for maximum realism and certain controllers are employed to enhance the performance.(Roland NRPN) THEATRE ORGAN SOUND: The big theatre organs like Wurlitzer and Marr & Colton were essentially a collection of large and small one note flutes but the combinations and the wind power are what made the sound unforgettable. These sequences are all arranged in the theatre playing style and the patches are picked for maximum authenticity. ORCHESTRAL WORKS: These sequences contain passages with up to 24 note polyphony with 16 channel useage and give a very realistic reproduction of orchestral works. INSTRUMENTAL: Another style is that of a full two hand piano piece with one or more solo type instruments playing what would have been the vocal. These pieces are very musical and can be used as background for singers. A Custom application of this style is used as the accom- paniment for band or orchestra student practice. (On tape casette) CASSETTE tapes: Any sequence in our library is available on high quality 60 or 100 minute audio cassettes using the Roland SC55 synthesizer or a Kurzweil piano as the sound source. All sequences and/or cassette tapes are in full stereo. The PAN controller value is chosen to fix the locations of the instruments in the orchestra, in effect putting the listener at orchestra center. In the case of piano sequences, each keyboard octave is assigned its own PAN value and the effect is that of sitting on the bench with the piano lid opened.
